In chapter 1, the Digital Generation table showed the difference between students from previous generations functioned compared to today's digital students. One thing i thought was interesting about it was the single taskers changing into multitaskers. Using digital technology forces students to multitask.

One thing i learned since the last posting was during our word assignment, while making the quiz i learned how to look online for more clipart. This helps with being more creative with word documents and would be very useful in the classroom as students get bored easily.

My boyfriend left a week ago to spend the rest of the summer in Los Angeles with his friends. We weren't dating when he planned the trip with his friends. I've been a little depressed lately beacause i miss him so much. I've never had a long distance relationship before and i'm kind of afraid of it. I really want things to work out, he comes back in mid August so i'm really looking forward to that. So far things have gone well, we talk on the phone several times a day and no problems yet.

Long distance relationships are not the easiest thing, but the saying absence makes the heart grow fonder proves to be pretty true.

Good luck with your boyfriend! My best friends man was gone for almost two years in Iraq and they are getting married in August so it can work!

I understand the long distant relationship, I am also experiencing that. It can be hard, but stay strong!

Yeah, long distance stinks. Just finished spending 6 months away from my fiancee (gotta love the military), and I was definitely glad to be done with that. Just stick it through, it'll all be worth it when he comes home!
